Description
Grifola Frondosa (Maitake) liquid culture. A highly valued mushroom, very rare in the wild. It has an excellent and delicate taste, is popular in Chinese cuisine. It is known in traditional Chinese medicine, has many beneficial effects for the human body. The mycelium grows at temperatures of 21-24°C and fruiting bodies are formed at a temperature of 13-18°C. It is grown on hardwood sawdust. After the mycelium grows, do not open the bag, leave it until the primordia begin to form (approx. 3-4 months). Then move the bag to the fruiting room but do not open it completely, leave only a small slit open, which will promote branching and growth of larger fruiting bodies and prevent excessive evaporation of water from the substrate. Ideal humidity: 85-90%. In the wild, it can produce fruiting bodies weighing up to 40kg.
For beginners we recommend commercial variety Dancing hens, which is easier to grow and has higher yields.
Package: 10ml of liquid mycelium of Grifola Frondosa (Maitake) and 1 sterile needle.
Storage: 4-5 months at room temperature, or 10-12 months in the refrigerator
