Description
Malt extract light (maltose) 50g, suitable for the production of liquid culture / liquid mycelium. Store in a dry and dark place. Malt extract is hygroscopic, so it absorbs moisture from the air, so it should always be stored dry and in an airtight jar or container. It is used in an amount of 1g per 600ml of distilled water. I've been using this light malt extract for making liquid cultures and it works perfectly fine. Mycelium grows rapidly and the sterilization process is not a problem. I would say it's hard to weigh because it gets wet too soon, so be careful with that :3
